Cauliflower Crust Pizza

Here’s a recipe for all you pizza lovers who are watching your carbs! 


1/2 head of cauliflower {grated}

{2 Cups=9 inch crust}

1 egg

1 Cup Shredded Mozzarella

1 1/2 tsp Italian Seasoning

1-2 heads garlic {minced}

1/2 tsp onion salt

Parmesan Cheese


1) Preheat oven to 450 degrees

2) Use a cheese grater to shred cauliflower into small pieces.

3) Put the shredded cauliflower in a large bowl and microwave for about 8 minutes.

{You don’t need to add anything to it-just the cauliflower itself.}

4) Allow the cauliflower to cool.

5) Mix the cooled cauliflower with the egg, garlic, mozzarella, Italian seasoning, and onion salt.

6) Spray a cookie sheet with nonstick cooking spray.

7) Form a round 9″ crust with the cauliflower mixture.

8) Lightly spray the crust with the non stick spray.

9) Bake the crust for about 15 minutes.

10) Take the crust out of the oven and turn the oven up to broil.

11) Put pizza sauce and desired toppings on the pizza.

12) Sprinkle top with Parmesan Cheese and Italian Seasoning

13) Broil the pizza for 3-4 minutes-just until the toppings are hot and the cheese is melted.

14) Enjoy!

So here’s the honest truth-I made this pizza for my husband on his birthday.  He LOVED it!  I, however, could not get past the smell-so I didn’t try it.  He hadn’t had carbs in a while and missed pizza so much the smell did nothing to deter him.  But, it was bad ya’ll….it lingered.  I will be making it again, mainly because he has been begging me to-but who knows if I will ever try it out! 🙂
