Magnificent Monday

I’m posting over at today!  Come get my best parenting advice;) Click HERE to read it!
I did a  “5 Minutes with Mom” interview with NWA Motherlode that is up on their site today!  Click HERE to read it.

We had a really fun weekend full of swimming, worshipping at church, a fantastic girls day, most importantly-NO PUKING!  Yay for us:)

Here are some pics from our girls day:
Breakfast at Mimi’s!

Play time at a park and then a walk on the trail.  Throwing rocks in water never gets old!

The girls got mani/pedis (Actually they just got their nails painted, but to them that is a “mani/’pedi”:)

We ended the day with some shopping.  Sadie really enjoys the music at the stores! 🙂

It was a great time!  I’m so thankful for the opportunity to spend time with these little ladies.
Now that we are officially into summer it doesn’t seem like there is much of a difference between weekends and weekdays.  My husband does head to work in the morning, but has been working from home in the afternoons so that I can take the older kids to the pool while Tony naps.  All this to say that when Monday rolls around I am having a hard time jumping into my usual planning/cleaning mode.  I’ll be honest, the house is messier, I’m sleeping later, and the laundry is somewhat caught up but not put all.
Our Summer menu is very simple!  We have actually been eating sandwiches a lot here lately.  It’s nice to take a break from cooking sometimes, but I’m ready to get back to it-and so is my family!  So, here we go with a menu that is still simple, but still keeps us from eating sandwiches every night.
Monday: Toasted Subs, Fruit
Tuesday: Grilled Marinated Chicken, Grilled Veggies, Fruit Salad
Wednesday: Eat Out
Thursday: Taco Thursday
Friday: Homemade Pizza
Saturday: Eat Out
Hope your Monday is Magnificent!
