It’s been a few weeks since I have posted. I really enjoy blogging, but at the same time it has no priority in my busy life! I will shoot for more consistancy in the future, we’ll see how that goes:)
I spent some time working on our menu yesterday afternoon, and then did my shopping. As we were carrying groceries in my husband tells me that he and the kids really want to grill some burgers today. Hmmm, that would have been nice to know a few hours ago Dear. I did happen to have ground beef and buns in the freezer though, so looks like my menu has already changed this week and I haven’t even posted it!
Monday-Burgers, Watermelon, Salad
Tuesday-Fajitas, Guacamole, Fresh Pineapple
Wednesday-Grilled Chicken and Sausage, Hard Boiled Eggs, Bruschetta, Salad
Thursday-Tilapia Cakes, Roasted Veggies, Salad, Fruit Salad
Saturday-Meatball Subs, Chips
Sunday-Au Jus Sandwiches, Spinach Strawberry Salad, Corn on the Cob
My goals for this week are centered around spring cleaning. I didn’t get anything done during spring break because we were traveling, and then we also traveled, oh, and then we traveled some more. We are all so happy to be spending some time away from our van:) Tony has now learned how to push the clip down on his car seat and work his arms out-NOT GOOD! Not sure how we are going to fix that problem….
Here’s where I’m going to focus this week:
- Clean out Master Bedroom Closet
- Dust/Clean Dining Room Floors
- Clean Bathrooms
- Start Weeding Back Yard
- Clean out all trash cans
- Put away winter coats/clothes
- Pick new verses for the kids (and I) to work on
- Finish cowls and infinity scarves for craft fair in April
