When you are a mother, you are never really alone in your thoughts. A mother always has to think twice, once for herself and once for her child.”

Monday’s Menu/Goals for the Week

I was able to go sit at a coffee shop yesterday and take my sweet time in doing my “family planning” for this week.  It was quite nice!  I highly suggest it:)  Meals are planned, grocery shopping is done, and to- do lists have been made.  ***sigh***
Today has been spent doing laundry and getting our Valentines Day treasure hunt organized.  It’s going to be fantastic.  I will be posting a tutorial on the Mosaic of Moms blog tomorrow, and will post a link to that here also.

Until then, here is our menu for the week:
Monday: Chicken Quesadillas with Guacamole and Corn
Tuesday: AuJus French Dip Subs, Sweet Potatos, Spinach Salad and Chocolate Chip Muffins
Wednesday: Leftovers
Thursday: Soft Tacos, Guacamole, fruit salad
Friday: Pizza
Saturday: Sandwhiches for Lunch, Tortilla Soup for Dinner
Sunday: Leftovers for Lunch, Toasted Subs for Dinner

My goals for this week are certainly not lofty.  We have appointment after appointment, so my main goal is to maintain a Godly attitude!  If I can squeeze in the time these are some things I might accomplish:

  • Make a pillow and leg warmers out of the cream sweater from Goodwill
  • Write a letter to Grandma R., and Grandma M.
  • Make magnets
  • Clean out the tub in Tony’s closet and sit clothes out for friend.
  • Clean out tub in the girls closet and separate out clothes for Goodwill, and clothes to keep for Sadie.
  • Take load to Goodwill.

Hmmm, I think I should able to get to these things, we shall see:)
